I grew up in Wirral, England, where artistic creativity became the centre of my life. In 2022, I graduated my Art and Design BA at the University of Leeds. I use energetic and harmonious gestures, with a naive and raw approach towards contemporary painting. The most important aspect of my works is that they are a celebration; I use them to act as time capsules in celebrating the values of presence in the ‘now’.
My fascinations lie in the relationship abstract painting has with the mystical, where I embark to set a visceral persona underneath the layers of paint that primarily suggest notions of the unseen. I use acrylic paint to discuss the synchronicities within colour and form, as painting lets me demonstrate impulse, beauty, and depth in the spatial aspects of chaos and order.
